Engineered exclusively by Brembo, the mountune MR front brake upgrade for the Focus ST provides outstanding stopping performance for high powered cars including street and track day applications. Massive 336mm x 28mm slotted and vented brake rotors clamped by Brembo 4 Piston Monobloc calipers fitted with mountune specific brake pads, provide optimized braking in all conditions and is compatible with the vehicle’s torque vectoring system. Add optional mountune rear pads and brake lines for a complete system.

Increasing the brake rotor size from the original diameter and thickness provides more friction surface area along with greater heat dissipation. Larger stiffer brake calipers provide increased clamping force that when combined as an engineered system, will dramatically decrease brake fade and improve stopping distances.

This upgrade is compatible with the vehicles original master cylinder and antilock brake system. Wheel spacers may be required, please check your application using the Brembo clearance template found at the installation guide tab.

mountune MR230 Complete Performance Upgrade- Fiesta ST 2013-2015

As the name suggests, the MR230 upgrade kit delivers a performance increase to 230PS (227hp) at 5500rpm with 340Nm (250 ft.lb) of torque available from 3000rpm.

The MR230 includes a complete list of engineered components along with a revised performance ECU calibration to deliver maximum reliable performance. The MR230 upgrade includes our high flow induction kit , high-flow silicone induction hose and intercooler charge pipe upgrade kit with our uprated alloy intercooler. Completing the upgrade we include our high-flow downpipe with 200-cell cat and a twin-tip cat-back exhaust system. All hardware can be added in a modular fashion except the downpipe, which is recommended to be installed together with the MR230 calibration.

mountune's engineers spent a great deal of time developing this kit to ensure that it delivers the optimum level of performance with the OE turbocharger, while maintaining the maximum possible reliability of the engine and transmission components. As part of the upgrade, the cam timing has also been optimized in the calibration. The revised cam timing provides a definite improvement in power and also helps hold on to the torque higher up in the rev range.

The end result is a very refined, OE-like day-to-day driving experience you've come to expect from a mountune calibration with an incredible increase in power and torque once you’ve increase to full throttle. The turbocharger spools into action, delivering a wave of torque that's difficult not to smile at, with an induction and exhaust note that's hard not to enjoy in equal measure!

For customers running the market-leading MP215 upgrade, the MR230 delivers a whole lot more of the same torque-related characteristics, but with a noticeably stronger top-end, and for those with a standard Fiesta ST, the change in performance is understandably, dramatic.

With the kit installed, the 0-60mph time drops to 5.9 seconds, a full 1-second improvement over the standard model In-gear and midrange acceleration is improved upon even more substantially thanks to the 340Nm readily on hand.

mountune’s extensive knowledge of the Ford EcoBoost engine coupled with broad motorsport experience provides the foundation for the ultimate 2.0L Ford EcoBoost forged piston. Engineered in house by our motorsport division and manufactured exclusively by our partner Mahle Motorsports, the mountune forged piston set for the 2.0L Ford EcoBoost is a fully featured piston with many of the same upgrades we use in our professional motorsport engines.

Produced from modern 4032 lightweight alloy forgings for maximum oil control and quiet operation, each piston features supported pin bosses to withstand the extreme conditions found in engines operating with high cylinder pressures. The layout of the piston has also been optimized with weight reduction in mind and reduced skirt profiles to minimize friction. Mountune pistons also include gas accumulator grooves developed during extensive testing and tailored for the EcoBoost engine. Careful consideration has been used in the “bowl” area of the piston to maintain Ford’s original profile to ensure proper and efficient combustion.

Tool steel 22mm internally tapered, short wrist pins are used to reduce pin flex and weight. Mountune connecting rods are recommended to ensure a matched set of components. As an added feature, Mahle's phosphate dry lubricant coating is used on the entire piston to reduce micro-welding and pin galling. Additionally, Mahle's Grafal skirt coating is used on the piston skirt to reduce cylinder wall friction reduction.

Hard anodized top ring grooves have been incorporated for increased durability and strength to withstand the high cylinder pressures of high boost engines.

• 1.2mm gas nitrided top ring: Superior combustion sealing, strength and wear compared to traditional 1.0mm steel top rings.
• 1.2mm gas nitrided second ring: Superior strength and wear compared to traditional iron second rings.
• 2.0mm soft nitrided oil rings: Superior strength and sealing properties compared to traditional 2.8mm rings

Available in 9.0:1 compression ratio for high power applications or standard compression ratio of 9.3:1. These pistons are not compatible with the original Ford connecting rod. We recommend genuine mountune forged connecting rods for maximum reliability.

A direct replacement for the standard Ford open differential, the Quaife ATB differential transforms your car's performance and improves cornering. Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation and never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle.
