This SynthaMax air filter from Airaid is a direct replacement for the original filter in Airaid's cold air dam intake systems (CAK145 or CAK144) for the 2013-2014 Focus ST. Replacing an Airaid air filter is simple, requiring only a few hand tools and can be accomplished in a matter of minutes.

The SynthaMax air filter is a non-oiled filter made up of an inner and outer layer. An outer layer of wire mesh provides durable support of filtration which helps prevent the air filter from collapsing under high air flow. The inner layer consists of two layers of synthetic materials that both provide outstanding air flow and high filtration. Particulates are first trapped in the outer layer of synthetic needle-felt polyester material which is designed for wet and dry filtration with high air flow capacity. The inner layer is a backup that captures any remaining particulates. Airaid SynthaMax air filters are made completely of synthetic fibers which are washable and do not need to be oiled making clean up easier.

Please Note: This air filter is not a replacement for the factory air box. It is only designed for use with Airaid's cold air dam intake systems.
